Today, English classes went outside to the middle school mural to simulate the experience of noticing and reflecting at a Washington D.C. memorial or monument. Boy, it was cold!!!
While we can't fully predict the weather in DC next week, it could be cold (it snowed in DC last week), or it could be hot and humid.
Please help your children to make appropriate clothing selections for full days of outside activities. We leave our hotel early in the morning and are gone all day. Children should layer their clothing for the chilly mornings and warm afternoons.
When kids (and adults) are cold, it's hard to do our best work.
Thank you,
Angie Corbet for the ELA Department
