I just wanted to send out a final blog post for the year extending a big thank you from all the King Cluster teachers for a successful 8th grade year. We truly enjoyed the journey throghn8th grade from the first day in September, through the cave trip in October, Community service in December, ur MLK day workshops, DC trip, Pucino family visit and so much more! The kids all showed tremendous growth over the course of this year and it was a teat to be able to guide them through their last year at WMS. Seeing them on the last day of school it is clear that the class of 2017 is certainly ready and prepared for 9th grade and the years beyond. We wish you all a relaxing summer at a hopefully slower pace and the best to the kids as they enter high school! It sounds like many of the kids have some really exciting plans for this summer!
As for myself, Sam and Deb we will be at the Blackbeard ride in a few weeks for the Pucino family ( Sam has his new Blackbeard's short and his trike ready to line up with all the motorcycles and I will be able to reconnect with some of Matthew's fellow soldiers who come up if they are stateside for the ride each year. Sam's first trip to Storyland in New Hampshire comes a few weeks later and then a few trips to various beaches and a couple of days at Ogunquit beach in Maine (his favorite). When we are not traveling we'll be taking day trips to the local resevoir in Arlington for swimming, trips to the farm for veggies and fruits, and several trips into the city for museums and other fun stuff.
