Thanks on behalf of the Pucino Family

Hi all, sorry it has taken me so long to write this, last week was quite the whirlwind and ran my "gas tank" pretty empty!


  I just wanted to send a quick thank you out to all the parents and students for making the special ceremony with the family of SSG Matthew Pucino a success last week. Many hours by many of our students went into the planning of the ceremony and creating of the items which were presented to the family on behalf of the Wayland community. Matthew's family was amazed at how connected the students felt to them and were so appreciative of the opportunity to be here in Wayland (although I think we were the lucky ones!). All of the children were great that day, I commented that I have never been prouder of a class than for those 2 hours last week.

  Thank you to all the parents who were able to provide food for after the ceremony and dinner items for the family to take home that day. Thanks also to those who were able to attend as well!

The Wayland Patch did a story published today and the Crier will have a story out for those who were not able to make it!

Patch Coverage of Pucino Family Visit

 The 3rd Annual Blackbeard's Motorcycle Ride will also be taking place on Saturday July 6th starting in Buzzard's Bay and finishing with a BBQ at the VFW in Plymouth. All the funds raised go to the Matthew Pucino Memorial Foundation run by his sisters.
