DC Trip Registration and NY Trip Lost and Found

Here are a few updates for you for this week:

New York Geology Trip: Thank you to all parents and guardians for getting our 8th graders packed and prepared for last weeks geology trip. We also wanted to thank you for dropping the kids off early at the middle school and also for picking them up the evening of the trip. We hope all the students enjoyed being a geologist for the day and getting into the field to do the very science they had learned about throughout the month of October. The weather cooperated both days for us this year allowing us to really show the students the evidence of the geologic history of New York and Massachusetts.

School Issued BLACK clipboards: Your child was issued a black plastic clipboard for the New York trip. They will also be bringing this to DC on their DC Trip. Students should return the black clipboards this week to their science teacher if they have not done so. Thank you.

New York Trip Lost and Found: In the back of the two science rooms are any items that were left on the bus from both days of the trip. If a student lost an item they can check either science room to see if it is there.

DC Trip Registration: The deadline for the DC Trip registration is this Tuesday October 29th. If you have not done so please take the time to register your child with Worldstrides, our travel agency partner, for the 8th grade DC Trip.  Registration can be done easily online, by phone, or by mail but needs to be done in order for your child to have a spot on this years trip.
