8th Grade HW Club Begins Tuesday 9/16

Hi all,

We hope the first week and a half of school has gone well for your child and they are looking forward to the rest of the 8th grade year with their peers and teachers.

We wanted to let you all know that 8th grade Homework Club will begin next Tuesday September 16. Homework Club will be held every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 until 3:15 and will be run by Ms. Netcoh in room 131.


  HW Club is a quiet, organized, and distraction-free environment that gives students the opportunity to put in their best hard work and effective effort on their homework. It is also a time where subject teachers will drop in and check in with individual students at HW club for any one-to-one help with course content and their work. Given the workload of the 8th grade compared to previous years this is a great opportunity for students to put themselves in the best position for success with their work through attending HW club.

  Students are encouraged to attend both days if at all possible with pick-up schedules but even if they can attend one of the two HW club sessions per week it is often of great help with their work. HW Club is open to all students.
